Astro to make HITS available on Family HD Pack
Viewers can also access TV’s greatest hits on multiple screens via Astro on the Go
Astro and Rewind Networks announced the launch of HITS (Astro Channel 720), Asia’s newest branded entertainment channel, which will go live on November 16th, midnight. This deal brings some of the greatest TV shows of all time to the homes of all Astro HD subscribers.

The channel will be available with Bahasa Malaysia and Simplified Chinese subtitles. HITS is Rewind Networks’ maiden venture with distribution on leading pay-TV platforms in Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines and now Malaysia. Distribution will continue to expand into other South East Asian markets as well as Hong Kong and Taiwan. These multi-award winning series will bring the greatest stories and famous characters to a new generation of TV viewers whilst breathing new life into iconic shows. The portfolio of HITS’ shows launched the careers of A-list stars including Robin Williams in Mork & Mindy and Jerry Seinfeld from Seinfeld. Other shows such as The Cosby Show, M*A*S*H and The X-Files reinvented their genres.
