Rewind Networks expands Indonesia footprint with First Media launch

HITS and HITS MOVIES debut on First Media on 16 Oct 2019

Singapore/Jakarta, September 23, 2019

Rewind Networks today announced the launch of its HITS and HITS MOVIES on First Media, the leading provider of TV Cable & Broadband Internet services in Indonesia operated by PT Link Net Tbk (LINK), which will be available from 16 October 2019. At launch, the channels will be available for free to all First Media’s HomeCable and FirstMediaX subscribers until 31 December 2019. HITS will be available on channel 324 and HITS MOVIES on channel 326. Both channels will be available to subscribers in High Definition.

The launch expands Rewind Networks’ footprint in Indonesia, bringing the networks’ total reach in Asia to nearly 15 million homes across 11 countries.

In October, viewers of HITS can look forward to brand new seasons of heartwarming family sitcom Family Ties Season 5 and Angela Lansbury’s crime-solving mystery Murder She Wrote Season 4, in addition to new series Miami Vice S1, which Time Magazine called “the hottest and hippest cop show”. Other on going series include Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Charmed, Law & Order SVU, The Nanny and Knight Rider.

On HITS MOVIES, viewers can look forward to family adventures and blockbusters such as Jumanji, starring Robin Williams, Stuart Little, starring Geena Davis and Hugh Laurie; Forrest Gump with Tom Hanks, The Karate Kid, Jack Nicholson’s The Shining, based on the Stephen King novel; The Mask of Zorro with Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta Jones; Ghostbusters 2 and Dustin Hoffman and Meryl Streep’s Oscar winning drama Kramer vs Kramer.
